... please AVOID contact with chemicals, perfumes, cosmetics, hairspray, deodorant and household cleaning products when wearing your accessories. 

 

... perspiration and dust can cause accessories to tarnish or lose their shine.

It is advisable to wipe off dust or moisture with a soft cloth each time after you wear it.

 

...  when NOT worn, store accessories in a jewelry box.

 

... REMOVE accessories when taking a shower, cleaning, applying makeup, lotions, hairspray, perfume;

 

or when exercising such as running, swimming, sports etc as moisture can cause accessories to tarnish or lose their shine.

 

...  also make sure you REMOVE accessories when changing clothes or sleeping as it may cling to fabric and break or rip; and damage your item.

// TIPS FOR KEEPING YOUR ACCESSORIES NEW & SHINY!


Never use anything but 100% cotton as a polishing cloth since tissue paper, polyester and coarse fabrics often contain wood fibers or synthetics.

These materials may cause fine scratches in the metal, especially on sterling silver.

 

How to clean Gold & Silver accessories?

 

As accessories is worn next to the skin; over time, accumulated dirt and grease may affect the brilliance of your accessories.  

All silver, once exposed to the atmosphere and contact with skin, is prone to oxidation and subsequent tarnishing.

 

Even good silver will eventually tarnish, hence it is important to take care of your accessories regularly.

 

How to clean swarovski crystals?

 

 To ensure the lasting beauty of your Swarovski crystals, do NOT use sonic cleaners, boiling water or commercial accessories cleaners. Accessories cleaners usually contain ammonia or alcohol which can have a damaging effect on the plating.

 

Swarovski recommends that you occasionally polish each  piece with a soft lint-free cloth. Do NOT wash the Swarovski simulated pearls, these should be buffed with a soft dry cloth.

 

What can I do when my accessories tarnishes?

 

Silver is a very soft metal and 100% pure silver is not suitable for jewelry because it is too soft and would easily bend and go out of shape.

When the silver tarnishes, we recommend gentle rubbing with a lint free polishing cloth* which should restore the original shine. 

*which can usually be bought from any supermarket, department store (Carrefour, Home Fix DIY hardware shops)

Proper care and maintenance will keep your accessories lustrous and sparkling.

 

Where and how should I keep my accessories?

 

Accessories should be kept in a well-ventilated place of low humidity and should not be exposed to the direct sunlight or in areas of excessive heat.  

They should NOT be kept with volatile substance such as perfume or hair spray which may cause accessories to lose their shine.

Chains and necklaces will retain their shine and glitter best if they are hung up when not being worn.

Most of our silver accessories is made from sterling silver -92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper.
